Providing mental health therapy services to developmentally delayed adults.  Helping my clients to work through their problems and helping to find creative ways for them to work through their issues.  Addressing the clients needs at their level.  Respecting each individual for their unique talents, gifts and goals.  Empowering clients to find their own solutions to their issues by helping to guide them to attain their goals.

Completing psychosocial evaluations of all rehab patients to assess for family and community support.  Assisting families and patients with finding needed community resources to return our patients to the community.  Assisting patients and their families with locating resources for their follow up medical care including differing modalities of therapy, long term care, and medical follow up.  This medical follow up includes medical care for our un-funded patients.  I also act as the spokesman/ communications liaison for the rehab unit to facilitate communication between the treatment team and patients and their families.  I also facilitate the weekly inter-disciplinary treatment team meeting.  The treatment team consists of our Medical Director, our Program Director, our Lead Nurse, the Lead Physical Therapist, the Lead Occupational Therapist, and our Speech Therapist.
